Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Thamel area, start by heading east on Tridevi Marg. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Bhagwan Bahal. Turn left onto Bhagwan Bahal and walk until you reach the end of the street. From there, turn right onto Bharma Kumari Marga. Continue walking until you see Kathmandu Paragliding on your left side, around a 10-minute walk.

  • Public Bus

    From Thamel, walk to the nearest bus stop at Sorhakhutte. Take a local bus heading towards Boudhanath or Sankhu. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the stop for Bharma Kumari Marga. Once you get off, walk a few meters down the road, and you will find Kathmandu Paragliding on your left.

  • Bike Rental

    Rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Thamel. Head towards Durbar Marg and follow it until you reach the intersection with Bagmati River. Turn right and follow the river until you find Bharma Kumari Marga. You will find Kathmandu Paragliding on your right side, which should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.

  • Cyclo or Rickshaw

    From Thamel, you can hire a cyclo or a rickshaw. Tell the driver you want to go to Bharma Kumari Marga. They will know the way. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask to be dropped off directly at Kathmandu Paragliding.
