If you have a car, start your journey from any location in the Mid-Hills region. Use the highway towards Kathmandu. The approximate distance to Kathmandu from the Mid-Hills can vary but expect around 2-4 hours of drive time, depending on traffic and road conditions. Once you reach Kathmandu, follow signs towards Thamel. The Mountain Everest is located at P866+XC7 in the Thamel area of Kathmandu. Look for parking spaces nearby as they may be limited.

For those traveling by public bus, find a local bus station in the Mid-Hills area. Buses to Kathmandu are frequent and cost-effective, ranging from NPR 300 to NPR 1000 depending on the bus type (standard or luxury). The journey may take about 3-5 hours. Upon reaching the main bus terminal in Kathmandu (Gongabu Bus Park), take a taxi or a local microbus to Thamel. The fare for a taxi to Thamel will be around NPR 300-500.

Once you arrive in Kathmandu, if you prefer convenience, you can hire a taxi directly to The Mountain Everest in Thamel. The cost is approximately NPR 500-1000 depending on traffic. The taxi will take you directly to the address P866+XC7, making it a hassle-free option.

If you are already in Thamel, The Mountain Everest is within walking distance. From the center of Thamel, head towards the intersection at the Mandala Street and follow the signs towards P866+XC7.
