If you are driving from Tauranga, take State Highway 36 towards Rotorua. Continue on SH36 until you reach the junction with State Highway 5. Turn right onto SH5 and continue towards Rotorua. Once you arrive in Rotorua, follow Fenton Street, then turn left onto Pukuatua Street, which leads you directly to the entrance of Redwoods – Whakarewarewa Forest. There is ample parking available, but be aware that parking fees may apply.
