Bus
From Christchurch city center, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the bus number 28 that goes towards 'Halswell'. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the most accurate times. The bus will take you to the Halswell area. Once you arrive at the Halswell bus stop, you will need to transfer to line 101 or 102, which will take you closer to Kaituna Valley Road. Alight at the stop closest to the Kaituna Valley Road intersection.

After getting off the bus at the Kaituna Valley Road intersection, you will need to walk approximately 2.5 kilometers along Kaituna Valley Road. The scenic reserve will be on your left side as you approach. Look for signs indicating the reserve entrance, as the area is well-marked.
