Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Fox Glacier, head east on State Highway 6 (SH6) towards Franz Josef Glacier. Continue for about 28 kilometers until you reach the intersection with State Highway 80 (SH80). Turn left onto SH80, which will lead you towards Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. Follow SH80 for approximately 54 kilometers, and you will arrive at the Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park Visitor Centre located at 1 Larch Grove.

To get to Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park Visitor Centre using public transportation, take a bus service from Fox Glacier to Aoraki/Mount Cook. Check with local transport providers for schedules, as buses may not run frequently. Once you arrive at the Aoraki/Mount Cook bus stop, walk towards the Visitor Centre, which is a short walk away, located at 1 Larch Grove. Follow the signage for the Visitor Centre.
