    If you are starting from the Kaikoura town centre, head east on West End towards Beach Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with State Highway 1. Cross over to Beach Road and follow it until you reach the coast. You'll see the Kaikoura Peninsula in front of you. Keep walking along Beach Road, which will turn into Fyffe Quay. Continue on Fyffe Quay for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will find the Kaikoura Recreation Reserve located at 40 Fyffe Quay. The reserve is situated near the coastline and has beautiful views of the ocean.

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Kaikoura. Start from the town centre and head east on West End towards Beach Road. Turn onto Beach Road and keep following it as it leads you along the coast. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn onto Fyffe Quay. The Kaikoura Recreation Reserve will be on your left at 40 Fyffe Quay.
