Car
If you are driving from the main visitor center in Mount Cook National Park, head southeast on State Highway 80 toward Twizel. After approximately 54 kilometers (about 40 minutes), turn left onto State Highway 8 toward Lake Tekapo. Continue on this road for about 27 kilometers until you reach Lake Tekapo. Once in Lake Tekapo, turn left onto Rapuwai Lane. The Chameleon Stargazing Booking office is located at 2 Rapuwai Lane, which will be on your left.

To reach the Chameleon Stargazing Booking office using public transport, first take the bus from Mount Cook National Park to Twizel. Once at Twizel, transfer to the bus that goes to Lake Tekapo. After arriving in Lake Tekapo, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer (about 15 minutes) to reach the Chameleon Stargazing Booking office at 2 Rapuwai Lane.
