If you are driving from the main visitor center in Mount Cook National Park, head southeast on State Highway 80 toward Twizel. After approximately 54 kilometers (about 40 minutes), turn left onto State Highway 8 toward Lake Tekapo. Continue on this road for about 27 kilometers until you reach Lake Tekapo. Once in Lake Tekapo, turn left onto Rapuwai Lane. The Chameleon Stargazing Booking office is located at 2 Rapuwai Lane, which will be on your left.
