Car
From Mount Cook National Park, head south on State Highway 8. After approximately 40 kilometers, you will reach the town of Twizel. Continue on State Highway 8 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Lake Tekapo (State Highway 8A). Follow the signs to Lake Tekapo, and once you arrive in the town, take Lakeside Drive towards the lake. Tekapo Springs is located at 300 Lakeside Drive, just a short drive from the town center.

Public Transport
To reach Tekapo Springs by public transport from Mount Cook National Park, you will need to take a bus from the Mount Cook Visitor Centre to Twizel. From Twizel, transfer onto a bus heading to Lake Tekapo. The bus will drop you off near the town center. From there, it is approximately a 5-10 minute walk to Tekapo Springs at 300 Lakeside Drive. Please check the bus schedules in advance as they can vary.
