If you're starting from the Whanganui River, head towards the Victoria Avenue and follow it towards the west. Continue walking along Victoria Avenue until you reach the intersection with Ridgway Street. Turn left onto Ridgway Street and continue straight. Keep an eye out for local landmarks such as the Whanganui War Memorial Centre on your right. After about 10 minutes, turn right onto Castlecliff Road. Continue on Castlecliff Road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Rangiora Street. Turn left onto Rangiora Street and The Citadel Cafe will be on your right at 14 Rangiora Street.
