Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Liberty Bell Center, head west on Market Street towards 6th Street. Continue walking straight for 3 blocks until you reach 6th Street. Turn left onto 6th Street and walk south for two blocks until you reach Chestnut Street. Turn right onto Chestnut Street and walk for another block until you reach Independence Square at 111 S Independence Mall W. The entrance will be on your right.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  If you are near the SEPTA bus stop at 15th Street and JFK Boulevard, take the Route 17 bus heading towards 69th Street Terminal. Get off at the 6th Street and Market Street stop. From there, walk east on Market Street for 2 blocks, then turn left onto 6th Street. Walk south for 2 blocks, and finally turn right onto Chestnut Street to reach Independence Square at 111 S Independence Mall W.

• Public Transportation (Subway)

  If you are near the City Hall subway station (Broad Street Line), take the train southbound towards NRG Station. Get off at the 8th Street station and exit towards Market Street. Walk east on Market Street for 2 blocks until you reach 6th Street. Turn left and walk south for 2 blocks, then turn right onto Chestnut Street. Independence Square will be on your right at 111 S Independence Mall W.

• Biking

  If you have a bike, start from the Schuylkill River Trail. Head east towards the city center and follow the signs for the bike lanes. When you reach the intersection of 8th Street and Market Street, turn left onto Market Street and head east for 2 blocks. Turn left onto 6th Street and ride south for 2 blocks. Finally, turn right onto Chestnut Street; Independence Square will be on your right at 111 S Independence Mall W.
