Car Rental
From Cusco city center, head southeast on Av. El Sol toward Av. La Cultura. Continue on Av. La Cultura, which turns into the road leading to the South Valley. Follow signs for Sicuani and take the route to the south. After approximately 1.5 hours, you will reach the town of Checacupe. Here, look for the signs directing you to Palccoyo. Continue on the dirt road for about 30 minutes until you arrive at the parking area for Montaña de Palccoyo. Note that the dirt road may be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

From the main bus terminal in Cusco, take a bus heading to Sicuani. This trip usually takes about 2 hours. Once in Sicuani, you will need to transfer to another bus or a shared taxi to Checacupe. This leg of the journey typically costs around 10-15 soles. After arriving in Checacupe, look for local transport options that can take you to the Palccoyo entrance. Expect to pay an additional fee for this ride, usually around 10 soles.
