Public Transport
From the main plaza in Cusco (Plaza de Armas), head to the nearby bus terminal called 'Terminal Terrestre' located at Av. Huayruropata. You can either walk (approximately 20-25 minutes) or take a short taxi ride. Once at the terminal, look for a bus heading towards Urubamba. The bus fare is generally affordable (around 10-15 soles). The journey will take about 1-1.5 hours. When you arrive in Urubamba, ask the driver to let you off at a stop near the Urubamba River Bridge.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can start from Plaza de Armas and head west towards Av. El Sol. Continue on Av. El Sol until you reach Av. Grau, then turn right. Follow Av. Grau until you come to the intersection with Av. La Cultura. Turn left onto Av. La Cultura and continue straight until you reach the bridge area. This walk takes around 2-3 hours and will give you a chance to see local neighborhoods.

Combination of Public Transport and Walking
From Plaza de Armas, take a taxi or a local bus to the 'Pampa de la Isla' stop in Urubamba. This is a popular route and should take about 1 hour. From there, it's a 15-20 minute walk to the Urubamba River Bridge. Simply follow the riverbank until you reach the bridge. This route offers scenic views of the river and local flora.
