From the main entrance of Machu Picchu, walk straight along the main pathway leading into the site. You will pass by the ticket control area. Continue walking straight, and you will reach the first set of terraces on your left. Keep following the path as it gently inclines. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see a sign pointing toward The main Plaza. Follow this sign, and you will find yourself at The main Plaza, which is a large open area surrounded by significant structures.
