    From the main entrance of Machu Picchu, walk straight ahead towards the main plaza. Once you reach the plaza, head towards the Inca Trail that leads to the Temple of the Sun. Follow the path uphill, keeping the wall on your left. Continue walking until you reach the junction where you can see the Temple of the Sun on your right. At this junction, take the left path that leads towards the Intihuatana (the Hitching Post of the Sun). As you walk along this path, keep following the trail signs that indicate the route to the Group of the Three Doorways. You will pass several terraces and small ruins along the way. Eventually, you will arrive at a viewpoint where you can see the three doorways. The entrance to this area is marked, and you will know you are there when you see the distinctive stone doorways framed by the surrounding landscape.
