Car
From Trujillo, head southeast on Av. Juan Pablo II towards Av. América. Continue on Av. América, then make a right turn onto Av. Manuel A. Odría. Follow this road as it becomes Av. La Libertad, then merge onto the Pan-American Highway (Route 1). After about 5 kilometers, take the exit towards La Esperanza. Continue on Pedro Murillo until you reach Huaca El Dragon, which will be on your right. Parking is available nearby.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From the main bus terminal in Trujillo, take a local bus heading towards La Esperanza. Make sure to ask the driver if they stop near Huaca El Dragon. The bus fare is usually around 1-2 soles. Once in La Esperanza, get off at the nearest stop to Pedro Murillo. Walk along Pedro Murillo for about 10 minutes until you reach Huaca El Dragon, which will be located on your left.

You can also hire a taxi from Trujillo to Huaca El Dragon. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Complejo Arqueológico Chan-Chan, specifically to Huaca El Dragon.
