If you're traveling by car, start from Huaraz, the nearest city. Head south on the PE-3N highway towards Caraz. After approximately 30 km, you will reach the town of Caraz. From Caraz, continue on the road leading to the Santa Cruz Trek trailhead at Cashapampa. This segment of the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you reach Cashapampa, you can park your vehicle and begin trekking towards Condorcacha, which is 15 km away and will take approximately 6-7 hours of hiking.

For those opting for public transportation, take a bus from Huaraz to Caraz. Buses leave frequently from the main terminal in Huaraz and the journey takes about 1 hour.
