If you are starting from the Guimarães train station, exit the station and walk towards the main road, Avenida de Conde de Margaride. Turn left and follow this road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua de São Pedro. Continue along this street until you reach the historic center of Guimarães. Keep straight until you reach Largo do Toural, a popular square. From Largo do Toural, head towards Rua de Santo António and continue straight until you reach Jardim do Largo Condessa do Juncal, which will be on your left.

If you are at the Castle of Guimarães, exit the castle grounds and head down the hill on Rua de São Gonçalo. At the bottom of the hill, turn left onto Rua do Carmo. Continue straight until you reach Largo do Toural. Once at Largo do Toural, follow the previous directions towards Rua de Santo António. Continue straight, and you'll find Jardim do Largo Condessa do Juncal on your left.

From the Praça de S. Tiago, where the Church of St. James is located, head towards the main street, Rua da Rainha. Walk straight, and you will come across the historic center. Continue past the shops and cafes until you reach Largo do Toural. From there, follow the route down Rua de Santo António towards Jardim do Largo Condessa do Juncal, which will be on your left.
