    Start at the Guimarães train station. Exit the station and head towards Avenida de Dom João IV. Walk straight along this avenue until you reach the intersection with Rua de Santo António. Turn right into Rua de Santo António and continue walking. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the city center, where you can enjoy the historic architecture. From here, follow the signs to the Guimarães Castle and the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza. Once you reach the castle, head towards the main square, Praça de São Tiago. From this square, follow the signs toward the bus terminal, where you can catch a bus to Porto. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once in Porto, make your way to the nearest metro station and take Line A (Blue) towards Estádio do Dragão. Alight at the Casa da Música station and transfer to Line D (Yellow) towards Santo Ovidio. Get off at the next stop, which is São Bento station. From São Bento, you can take bus number 204 towards Foz, and get off at the Passeio Alegre stop. Walk a short distance to reach Jardim do Passeio Alegre.
