Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the main area of Boavista, head east on Avenida da Boavista towards Rotunda da Boavista. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Rua de 31 de Janeiro. Follow the road until you see the Metro station 'Casa da Música'. From there, it’s about a 20-minute walk to Jardim do Morro. Continue down Rua de 31 de Janeiro until you reach the riverside, then follow the path along the Douro River towards Vila Nova de Gaia. The journey is scenic, and you'll pass by various cafés and shops.

Metro
From Boavista, walk to the nearest metro station, 'Casa da Música', which is on the Blue Line (Linha A). Purchase a ticket for Vila Nova de Gaia (approximately €1.20). Board the train heading towards 'Senhora da Hora' and change at 'Trindade' to the Green Line (Linha C). Take the Green Line towards 'Estádio do Dragão' and get off at 'Câmara de Gaia' station. From 'Câmara de Gaia', it's about a 15-minute walk to Jardim do Morro. Once you exit the station, head towards Rua de João Pereira and continue until you reach the park.

Bus
You can take the bus from Boavista to Jardim do Morro. Go to the nearest bus stop on Avenida da Boavista and catch bus number 500 (direction: Cais de Gaia). The ticket costs approximately €1.50. Get off at the stop 'Cais de Gaia'. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Jardim do Morro. Head up the hill using the stairs or the slope leading to Jardim do Morro, which will be on your right.
