    From the Summerville town center, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Take the CARTA Route 10 bus towards Charleston. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. When you reach the stop at Calhoun St & Concord St, disembark. Walk east on Concord St for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Fort Sumter Visitor Education Center located at 340 Concord St, Charleston, SC 29401.

    If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Summerville. Head south on Main St, then take a left onto N Main St. Follow N Main St until you reach US-78. Turn right onto US-78 and continue for about 12 miles towards Charleston. Follow signs to the waterfront area and turn left onto Concord St. The Fort Sumter Visitor Education Center will be on your right at 340 Concord St.
