If you are driving from Mount Rushmore National Memorial, start by exiting the memorial park area and head north on SD-244. Continue on SD-244 for about 4 miles until you reach the intersection with US-16. Turn right onto US-16 and follow it for approximately 5 miles. Look for the exit toward SD-79. Merge onto SD-79 and head north for about 6 miles. Then, turn left onto Cosmos Rd, and the Cosmos Mystery Area will be on your right at 24040 Cosmos Rd, Rapid City, SD 57702.
