Take Line 2 (Red Line) from any nearest metro station towards Cuatro Caminos. If you're starting from Gran Vía, get on at Gran Vía station. Ride until you reach the Cibeles station, which is only 3 stops away. Once you exit the metro, follow the signs towards Plaza Cibeles. You will see the iconic Cibeles Fountain as you emerge from the station.

Look for the nearest bus stop and take any of the following lines: 27, 40, 147, or 150. If you are near the Puerta del Sol, you can catch the bus 27 or 150. Alight at the stop called 'Cibeles' which is directly in front of the plaza. After getting off, walk a few steps forward and you'll be at Plaza Cibeles.

If you are near the Retiro Park, head towards the northeast exit of the park, which leads you to the Calle de Alfonso XII. Walk along this street until you reach the Plaza de Cibeles. It should take about 15 minutes on foot. As you approach the plaza, you will see the majestic Cibeles Fountain and the surrounding architecture.
