Getting There

  • Car

    From Horton Plains National Park, take the A7 road heading northwest towards Nuwara Eliya. Continue on the A7 for approximately 16 kilometers until you reach the junction with the A5 road. Turn left onto the A5 road and drive for about 25 kilometers, passing through the town of Haldumulla. You will then take a right turn onto the B98 road and follow it for about 6 kilometers until you see signs for Angammedilla National Park. The park entrance is located at WWGC+58C, Diyabeduma.

    Begin your journey at the Horton Plains National Park entrance. You will need to hire a taxi to take you to the nearest bus station in Nuwara Eliya. From there, take a bus heading towards Diyabeduma. Ensure to check the bus schedules, as they may vary. Once you arrive at Diyabeduma, you may need to take a local tuk-tuk or taxi for the remaining distance to the Angammedilla National Park entrance located at WWGC+58C.
