Walking
Once you are inside Horton Plains National Park, you can start your journey to Kirigalpoththa Mountain peak by following the clearly marked trails. The trek to Kirigalpoththa is approximately 6 kilometers from the main entrance of the park. Take the path from the park entrance towards the popular World's End viewpoint. After reaching the World's End, continue on the trail which leads you towards Kirigalpoththa. The hike will take about 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Ensure to wear comfortable hiking shoes and carry sufficient water.
