Getting There

Car
If you're driving from Kandy, take the A26 road towards Matale. After approximately 25 kilometers, you'll reach the town of Matale. From Matale, head towards Minipe on the A9 road. Follow the signs to Minipe and continue for about 12 kilometers until you reach the Minipe town center. Here, you can ask locals for directions to Yahangala, which is located about 5 kilometers from Minipe. The road becomes narrower, so drive carefully. There may be a small parking area at the base of the trail leading to Yahangala.

From Kandy, take a bus to Matale, which is a common route. The bus journey should take about an hour and costs around 50 LKR. Once in Matale, look for a bus heading to Minipe. This ride will take about 30 minutes and cost approximately 30 LKR.
