Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Jaffna town, head north on Kandy Road (A9) towards Chundikuli. After approximately 2 kilometers, turn left onto M274 road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Pannai Causeway, which will be on your left. There are no tolls along this route.

  • Public Transportation

    From Jaffna town, take a local bus heading towards Chundikuli. The bus station is located near the Jaffna Fort. Buses run frequently, and the fare is approximately LKR 20. Once you arrive at Chundikuli, disembark and walk approximately 1 kilometer towards the M274 road. Pannai Causeway will be on your left.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    You can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Jaffna to take you directly to Pannai Causeway. The ride should cost around LKR 300-500 depending on your starting point and negotiation. The driver will take you along the Kandy Road (A9) to M274, where Pannai Causeway is located.
