Getting There

Walking
Start at the center of Nuwara Eliya, near the famous Nuwara Eliya Post Office. Head south on the Main Street towards the Nuwara Eliya Lake. Continue walking along the lake until you reach the entrance of the Hakgala Botanical Gardens. From here, take the road that leads towards the Sita Temple, following the signs for the Kirigalpoththa trail. The trail begins at the end of the Sita Temple road.

Hiking
Once you reach the trailhead, prepare for a hike up Kirigalpoththa Mountain. The trail is approximately 14 km long and is considered moderate in difficulty.
