Bus
From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the end of Via della Pace. Take bus line 1 towards Locarno. Get off at the Locarno train station. From there, take a train to Como. The train ride takes approximately 1 hour. Upon arriving at Como train station, exit the station and head towards the waterfront. Follow the signs towards the city center. Walk along the lakeside promenade until you reach Piazza del Duomo, where the Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta is located.

First, make your way to the Locarno train station from Ascona. You can either take a local bus or walk to the station. Once at Locarno station, board a train heading to Como. The journey takes about 1 hour. When you arrive at Como train station, exit and walk towards the lake. Follow the signs to the city center and walk straight until you reach Piazza del Duomo, where the cathedral is located.

From Ascona, walk to the Ascona ferry terminal located by the lake. Board a ferry heading towards Como. The ferry ride offers beautiful views and takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
