    If you are currently in the center of Chiang Rai, you can start at the clock tower. From the clock tower, head east on Phahonyothin Road (Highway 1) for about 1 kilometer. As you walk, you will pass several shops and local eateries. After about 10-15 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Rop Wiang Road. Turn left onto Rop Wiang Road and continue for another 500 meters. Look for the Akha Kitchen Thai Cooking Class on your right at 143, Subdistrict, 4, Rop Wiang Sub-district.

  • Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

    Find a nearby songthaew stop in the city center, such as near the clock tower. Take a songthaew heading towards Rop Wiang. Inform the driver that you want to go to Akha Kitchen. The ride will take about 10 minutes and cost around 20-30 baht. The driver will drop you off close to the cooking class located at 143, Subdistrict, 4, Rop Wiang Sub-district.
