Start from the center of Serrekunda, near the Serrekunda Market. Head west towards the main road, Kairaba Avenue. Walk straight until you reach the junction with the Banjul Highway. Cross the road carefully and continue on Kairaba Avenue until you reach the turn-off to the Niodior area. From there, you will need to ask locals for directions to Île de Kooko, as it is located on an island and may require a boat ride. Local fishermen and guides often provide transport to the island.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Serrekunda. Begin your journey from the Serrekunda Market and cycle west on Kairaba Avenue. Follow the same route as if walking until you reach the junction with the Banjul Highway. Be cautious of traffic.
