Walking
Start from the central area of Couva. Head towards the Couva Main Road, which is a major thoroughfare. Exit the central area and walk south along the Couva Main Road, keeping an eye out for local landmarks such as shops and the Couva Village Plaza. Continue walking for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the junction with Paria Main Road. At this junction, you will notice a sign for Shark River. Turn left onto Paria Main Road.

From your location in Couva, walk to the nearest bus stop on Couva Main Road. Wait for a local bus heading towards Chaguanas or San Fernando. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off at the junction for Paria Main Road. Once you reach the junction, disembark and walk a short distance to the left onto Paria Main Road. Follow this road for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Shark River.

You can also opt for a local taxi from Couva. Look for a taxi stand or hail a taxi on the street. Inform the driver that you would like to go to Shark River on Paria Main Road. The ride should take about 10 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. The taxi will drop you off directly at Shark River.
