    If you are driving from Derby, take the A52 towards Ashbourne. Continue on the A52 for about 17 miles until you reach the roundabout at Ashbourne. Take the second exit onto the A515, and then follow signs for Carsington Water. After approximately 3 miles, turn right onto Big Lane. Carsington Water will be on your right.
