Walking
If you are in the city center of Durham, start at the Market Place. Head southeast on the street called Silver Street. Continue straight until you reach the end of Silver Street where it merges into High Street. Turn left onto High Street, and walk until you see the entrance to Owengate on your right. Continue on Owengate for a short distance, and you will find the World Heritage Site Visitor Centre at 7 Owengate, on your left.
