Bus
From the city center, walk to the St Andrew Square Bus Station. Take the Lothian Buses number 37 or 47 towards Penicuik. Stay on the bus for about 30-40 minutes until you reach the 'Penicuik Town Centre' stop. From the bus stop, head south on the High Street, then turn left onto the A701. Continue walking for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the entrance to Castlelaw Hill.

Start at Waverley Station in Edinburgh. Take a train towards Penicuik. Once you arrive at Penicuik Station, exit the station and walk north on the A701 (Midlothian Road).
