Getting There

Bus
From the city center, head to the nearest bus stop. Take the Lothian Buses service number 41 towards 'Cramond'. The bus will take you through various neighborhoods and finally to Cramond village. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Cramond Village' stop. From there, walk towards the Cramond Beach and follow the path along the river. Continue along the path, and you will reach Cramond Brig in about 15-20 minutes.

Walking
If you are starting from the city center and prefer walking, you can walk to Cramond Brig directly. Begin at the Edinburgh Castle and head down the Royal Mile towards the east. Follow the road to the North Bridge and then take a right onto the A8. Continue walking on the A8 until you reach the junction for the A90. Cross over to the Cramond Road South. Follow this road straight until you reach the path that leads down to Cramond Beach. Walk along the beach path, which will lead you to Cramond Brig. This walk is approximately 4 miles and will take about 1.5 hours.

Cycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in the city center. Start your journey by cycling along the Water of Leith walkway. This scenic route will lead you through beautiful parks and along the river. Follow the cycle path until you reach the Cramond area, which is approximately 5 miles from the city center. Once you arrive in Cramond, follow the signs to Cramond Beach, and you will find Cramond Brig just a short cycle away from the beach.
