If you're starting from Edinburgh Waverley Station, exit the station onto Market Street. Head northeast toward the Mound and continue straight onto North Bridge. Cross North Bridge, and continue walking straight until you reach the junction with George IV Bridge. Turn left onto George IV Bridge, and walk until you reach the junction with Greyfriars Place. Turn right onto Greyfriars Place, and you will find Greyfriars Kirk on your left.

From the Grassmarket area, head north towards the Cowgate. Take the Cowgate until you reach the junction with the George IV Bridge. If you prefer taking the bus, you can catch the Lothian Buses number 30 or 33 from various stops in the city center. Get off at the 'George IV Bridge' stop.
