Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Edinburgh Waverley Train Station, exit the station onto Market Street. Turn right and walk towards the Mound. Continue straight until you reach the Mound, then turn left onto North Bridge. Continue walking straight until you reach South Bridge. Cross the road and continue down South Bridge until you reach the junction with Teviot Place. Turn left onto Teviot Place and follow it until you reach the end at the Meadows.

  • Bus

    From the city center, you can take Lothian Buses numbers 3, 7, 8, 29, or 31 towards the Meadows. Get on the bus at any of the main stops such as St Andrew Square or South St David Street. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop called 'Meadows' which is right next to the park. After getting off, walk a short distance to enter The Meadows.

  • Tram

    From the city center, catch the tram at any of the stops along Princes Street heading towards the Airport. Get off at the 'Shandwick Place' stop. From there, walk down Lothian Road until you reach the junction with West College Street. Turn left and continue straight until you reach Teviot Place. Turn right and follow Teviot Place directly to The Meadows.

  • Cycling

    If you're renting a bike, head towards the Bruntsfield Links from the city center. You can take the cycle path down Nicolson Street, then turn onto West Nicolson Street, which leads you directly to the Meadows. There are bike racks available for parking once you arrive at the park.
