Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the city center, start at the famous Edinburgh Castle. Walk down the Royal Mile towards the east. Continue along the Royal Mile until you reach St Giles' Cathedral. From there, take a right onto the High Street and walk until you reach the Canongate area. Next, turn left onto Holyrood Road and continue walking until you reach the junction with the Pleasance. Turn right onto the Pleasance and continue until you see the park area on your left. Flodden Wall is located at 1 Vennel, which is a short walk from the park. Follow the signs directing you to Vennel, a narrow street that leads uphill to the wall.

  • Bus

    From the city center, you can take bus number 37 from St Andrew Square bus station towards 'Tollcross'. Get off at the 'Tollcross' stop. From there, walk down Lothian Road until you reach the junction with Vennel. Turn left onto Vennel and walk uphill to find Flodden Wall at 1 Vennel, EH1 2HU.
