Walking
If you're starting from Edinburgh Waverley Station, exit the station and head towards the main entrance. Once outside, turn left onto Market Street and walk straight until you reach the foot of the Mound. Ascend the Mound, which will lead you to the top where you can see the National Gallery on your left. Continue straight onto the East Princes Street Gardens, and you will see the Scott Monument ahead. From there, head towards the west end of the gardens, and you will find a pathway that leads onto Chambers Street. Walk straight along Chambers Street for about 5 minutes, and the William Chambers Monument will be on your left at 45 Chambers St, EH1 1JF.

Bus
From the city center, you can catch a bus from any stop along Princes Street. Look for buses heading towards 'The Meadows' or 'Bruntsfield' (such as buses 3, 7, 8, 29, 30). Get off at the 'Chambers Street' stop. Once you disembark, walk towards the direction of the traffic and you will see the William Chambers Monument directly ahead on Chambers Street at 45 Chambers St, EH1 1JF.

If you're near the tram line, board a tram at any stop heading towards 'York Place' or 'Airport'. Get off at the 'St Andrew Square' stop. From there, walk towards the east end of the square to access North St David's Street, then turn left onto George Street. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Hanover Street, turn right, and walk straight until you reach the junction with Chambers Street. You will find the William Chambers Monument at 45 Chambers St, EH1 1JF on your left.
