If you are in the city center, make your way to George Street. From there, head west towards Charlotte Square. You will find Charlotte Square just a short 5-minute walk away. Look for the large, beautiful Georgian buildings as you approach. The square is located at the intersection of Charlotte Square and the west end of George Street.

To reach Charlotte Square by bus, find a bus stop that serves routes heading towards the West End. You can catch buses number 3, 10, 11, 15, or 27 from various stops in the city center. Alight at the 'Charlotte Square' stop. Once you disembark, walk a few steps towards the square which will be directly in front of you.

Tram
If you prefer to take the tram, head to the nearest tram stop. Take the tram towards York Place and get off at the 'West End - Princes Street' stop. From there, walk to Lothian Road, then turn left and walk towards Charlotte Square which is a short 5-minute walk away. Look for the large park area and the impressive architecture.

For a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Edinburgh. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Charlotte Square. The taxi will drop you off right at the square entrance. This is a good option if you are carrying heavy bags or if the weather is not favorable.
