Board the bus heading towards the city center and alight at the 'Princes Street' stop. From there, walk east towards the East Princes Street Gardens, and you will see the Scott Monument ahead. A single adult ticket costs £1.80.

Another option is to take the Edinburgh Tram. The nearest tram stop is 'Princes Street'. Board the tram at any stop on the line and alight at 'Princes Street'.
