Getting There

Car
If you're driving, head towards the A40 road which connects many towns in Gloucestershire. From Gloucester, take the A40 towards Ross-on-Wye. After about 12 miles, take the exit toward A4136. Continue straight on the A4136 for approximately 5 miles until you reach Soudley. Turn left onto Camp Mill Road, and the Dean Heritage Centre will be on your right after about 0.5 miles. Parking is available on-site, and there may be a small fee for parking.

Public Transport
To reach Dean Heritage Centre using public transport, start at Gloucester Bus Station. Take bus number 30 or 31 towards Coleford. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Get off at the Soudley stop. From there, it's a short 15-minute walk to the centre. Head north on the A4136, then turn right onto Camp Mill Road, and follow it until you reach the Dean Heritage Centre. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service can be limited.

Walking from Soudley
If you are in Soudley and prefer to walk, from the village centre, head north towards the A4136. Cross the road carefully and turn right onto the A4136. After approximately 0.5 miles, turn right onto Camp Mill Road. Continue walking straight, and you will see the Dean Heritage Centre ahead. This walk takes around 15-20 minutes.
