Getting There

• Tube

  If you are starting from central London, one of the easiest ways to reach the Old Whitechapel Bell Foundry is by taking the London Underground. Board the District Line or Hammersmith & City Line at any central station like 'London Paddington' or 'Baker Street'. Travel eastbound towards 'Whitechapel' station. Upon arrival at Whitechapel station, exit the train and use the escalators to reach the street level. Once you exit the station, turn left onto Whitechapel Road (A11). The Old Whitechapel Bell Foundry is located about a 5-minute walk down the road at number 32 on your right.

• Bus

  You can also reach the Old Whitechapel Bell Foundry by bus. From central locations such as 'Trafalgar Square', take the bus route 25 towards 'Oxford Circus'. Get off at the 'Whitechapel Station' stop. From there, walk east on Whitechapel Road for approximately 5 minutes until you reach the Old Whitechapel Bell Foundry at 32 Whitechapel Rd.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Whitechapel area or nearby, you can easily walk to the Old Whitechapel Bell Foundry. From Whitechapel Underground Station, head southwest on Whitechapel Road. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles (approximately 5 minutes), and you will find the Old Whitechapel Bell Foundry at 32 Whitechapel Rd on your right.

• Taxi/Private Hire

  For a more direct route, you can also take a taxi or a private hire vehicle to the Old Whitechapel Bell Foundry. Just provide the driver with the address: 32 Whitechapel Rd, London E1 1EW. This option is more comfortable, especially if you are traveling with luggage or in a group.
