Start by making your way to the nearest London Underground station. If you're near a central location, the closest stations are likely to be St. Paul's (Central Line) or Barbican (Circle, Hammersmith & City, and Metropolitan Lines). If at St. Paul's, take the Central Line eastbound to Liverpool Street. If at Barbican, remain on the same line and get off at Barbican. From Barbican, exit the station and head towards London Wall.

Walking
Once you are at Barbican station, take the exit marked 'London Wall'. Upon exiting, you will find yourself on London Wall road. Turn right and walk along London Wall for about 5 minutes. You will pass the Museum of London on your right, and shortly after, you will see the Roman city wall at Salters Garden, which is below street level. Look for the entrance to Salters Garden to view the Roman city wall.

Bus
Alternatively, you can take a bus to get closer to the Roman city wall. From St. Paul's Cathedral, catch bus number 25 or 8 from the bus stop near the cathedral. Get off at the stop 'London Wall'. Walk a short distance along London Wall, following the same route as mentioned earlier, and you will reach Salters Garden where the Roman city wall is located.
