    From Edinburgh, take the A7 South towards Dalkeith. After approximately 6 miles, take the exit towards Dalkeith. Follow the signs for Dalkeith and merge onto the A6094. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto King’s Gate. Dalkeith Country Park will be on your right. There is ample parking available on site.

    From Edinburgh Waverley Station, take the Lothian Bus 3, 33, or 49 towards Dalkeith. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'Dalkeith, King’s Gate' stop. Walk along King's Gate towards the park entrance; Dalkeith Country Park will be straight ahead. Make sure to check the bus schedules for return trips.

    If you're coming from the direction of Penicuik, take the A702 towards Edinburgh. Turn onto the A703 towards Dalkeith. Once in Dalkeith, follow signs for the A6094 and then King’s Gate. Dalkeith Country Park will be located on your right-hand side as you approach, with parking available.
