Getting There

Walking
Exit the Sistine Chapel and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once outside, continue walking straight down Viale Vaticano until you reach the intersection with Via di Porta Angelica. Turn left onto Via di Porta Angelica and continue walking until you reach the end of the street at the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. At this point, you will see St. Peter's Basilica in front of you. Cross the street and continue straight onto Via della Conciliazione. Follow this road which will eventually lead you to Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina. Continue to follow the signs towards the Trevi Fountain. Once you arrive at Piazza di Trevi, you will find the fountain in the center of the square.

From the Sistine Chapel, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Via di Porta Angelica. Take the bus number 81 towards 'Piazza Venezia.' Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Piazza Venezia' stop. From there, walk towards Via del Corso, then take a right onto Via delle Muratte. Continue straight until you reach Piazza di Trevi. The fountain will be directly in front of you.
