    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Sistine Chapel, exit the chapel and walk towards the entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once outside, head towards the main entrance gate of the Vatican City. Once you exit the Vatican City, turn right and walk along the Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge over the river. After crossing, keep walking straight until you reach the end of the bridge, then turn left onto Via di Torre Argentina. Follow this road as it curves and merges into Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Continue straight for about 400 meters until you see the large square of Piazza Navona on your right.

    Public Transport - Bus

    From the Sistine Chapel, exit and walk towards the entrance of the Vatican Museums. Head to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Via della Conciliazione. Look for bus line 81 or 492, which both can take you towards Piazza Navona. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop named 'Corso Vittorio Emanuele/Argentina'. Once you get off, walk straight ahead and turn left onto Via di Torre Argentina, which leads you directly to Piazza Navona.
