If you are in Dong Da District, you can reach One Pillar Pagoda on foot. Start by heading towards Đội Cấn Street. Walk north on Đội Cấn until you reach the intersection with Liễu Giai Street. Turn left onto Liễu Giai Street and continue straight. You will see the entrance to the pagoda on your right, located in the Ba Đình District at 2RPM+8CX, P. Chùa Một Cột. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your starting location.

For a more traditional experience, consider taking a cyclo (a three-wheeled bicycle taxi). You can easily find a cyclo driver around popular areas in Dong Da District. Agree on a fare before starting your ride (typically around 50,000 to 100,000 VND, depending on the distance). Ask the driver to take you to One Pillar Pagoda, located in the Ba Đình District. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes.

You can also take a public bus to reach One Pillar Pagoda. Look for bus number 22 or 29, which have stops near Dong Da District. Board the bus and pay the fare (around 7,000 VND). Get off at the nearest stop to One Pillar Pagoda (Ba Đình area); from there, it is a short walk to the pagoda. Make sure to check the bus schedules as they may vary.
