Getting There

Walking
From Hoan Kiem Lake, head northwest towards Phan Chu Trinh Street. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Le Duan Street. Turn left onto Le Duan and continue walking for approximately 600 meters. As you approach the intersection with Doi Can Street, you'll see the entrance to One Pillar Pagoda on your right.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops around Hoan Kiem Lake. Start by cycling northwest towards Phan Chu Trinh Street. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers, then make a left onto Le Duan Street. Cycle for another 600 meters until you reach Doi Can Street, where you will find One Pillar Pagoda on your right. Note that the bicycle rental may cost approximately 30,000-50,000 VND per hour.

Public Bus
From Hoan Kiem District, find the nearest bus stop and take bus number 23 or 18 towards Ba Dinh District. The bus will take you close to the One Pillar Pagoda. Make sure to get off at the 'Chùa Một Cột' stop. The bus fare is around 7,000 VND. After getting off, walk a short distance to the pagoda.
