Getting There

    If you are already in Old Southwest, you can make your way to Mill Mountain Star by walking. Start from the intersection of 5th Street SW and Campbell Avenue. Head east on Campbell Avenue towards 4th Street SW. Turn left onto 4th Street and continue straight until you reach the entrance of Mill Mountain Park, which is about 1 mile away. Once you enter the park, follow the signs leading up the steep path to the star. The hike is approximately half a mile from the park entrance to the star, and it may take around 20 minutes to reach the top.

    For those who prefer public transportation, you can take the Roanoke Valley Metro Bus service. Locate the nearest bus stop along Campbell Avenue.
